Chameleon on second partition won't auto boot
« on: December 19, 2009, 05:45:58 PM »
I have the following problem:
I installed Snow Leopard on the second partition (HFS+) on my eee pc. On the first partition i installed Windows XP (FAT 32). I got it dual booting with the Win XP Bootmanager using (tboot/chain0).
I have to chose Snow Leopard in the Win XP Bootmenu and a second time in chameleon. I haven't figured out to get around it because if I change disk0s2 to be the active partition chameleon won't detect Windows XP on disk0s1.
I tried everything in boot.plist. Quiet Boot, Timeout didn't work. It does nothing.
Besides that Chameleon Boot Menu looks different if chainloaded from win boot manager. I changed both boot.plist but it didn't have an effect either.
Someone in this thread had this problem too but I think he reinstalled the bootmanger from Win XP because he couldn't get it to work.

Is there really no solution to make chameleon detect the Win XP partition or to autoboot after being chainloaded?
