I am running Leopard (10.5.8 ) on a Core 2 Duo Machine (Details is in the footer). For audio, AppleHDA.kext is used for VMWare compatibility.
After update to Chameleon 2.0 RC4, I get uncomfortable loud pulse noise before starting sound after a period of silence.
This didn't happen with RC3 and before (actually, I downgraded to RC3 and it works fine).
I hope the audio issue fixed (or reverted) in the next RC (or official release).
