GIGABYTE EX58-UD5 (Bios F9e) boot1h issue
« on: January 08, 2010, 11:59:15 AM »
Although I have 1 hard drive working I have an issue with Chameleon 2.0 RC3 & RC4

I've tried all manual procedures and I still get the Boot1h error. I just read about a bug fix for some bios-es in RC4, but I'm more curious if someone has similar experience.

BTW once the bootpartition is working correctly, the installation is smoothless.

Any suggestion/experience with this mainboard are VERY WELCOME ;-)

Did you install the boot1h to the same partition where the boot file was copied?

If yes, then you can use the boot1hp/boot1he combo to get some debug details.

Read here how to install:

I don't experience this particular problem on my copy of that board running bios version F7.
