Looks good, though I assume the scrollbar would be simply static, don't think it could be rigged to actually scroll...

Whos the ThemeMaestro? If they are happy to create it i can send across the files etc? As honestly i cant say if i can or can't do it lol But as long as i get credit hehehe!

Wasn't awear if we was able to create a scroll bar or not so that can be removed and i will put a simple glow around the icons that are being selected or something?

He's more then Welcome to try ;)

Is it like an .xml that loads? If so maybe an .xml scroller code might work? If there is one?

He already is kind+cool enough to help around whenever he can, you can find his documentation about the basics here as well as the rest of the stickies in this sub-forum.

We'd love to see other members efforts too, so have no fear and get down on it :)

@Simon (betty02)
The easiest way to start is just by editing the original default theme supplied in the original Chameleon RC4 binary download. So for a first attempt, you could load up each graphic from the default theme, leaving it at the same size, and replace with your image. Then re-save as a .png with a transparent background.

This way you won't have to worry about editing he theme.plist at this stage. It's only when you add a background image will the resolution become important.

With regard to a scroll bar, you have to remember that Chameleon is primarily a bootloader and the GUI is a secondary feature and the graphical features are limited. The current implementation of a scroll is the have a default number of devices set in the theme.plist and when you have more than the default, then an icon will be drawn to allow you to see the next/previous devices.

@Rocksteady
Thanks for the kind words :)

Great.

When you get to using a background, you will have to create it to fit the resolution that Chameleon is using for the GUI.  It just gets a bit more fiddly when you want to use different sized devices and you then have to edit the values in the theme.plist to reposition them.

And remember, any problems just ask.

Morning guys and girls.

Well spent roughly 8 hours yesterday trying to get my Lenovo R61 trying to duel boot Mac Leopard, i used a number of tutorials and the only place i can get up to is loading the OS X disc and then the apple logo comes on with the spinning loading circle and it does nothing after that, that is with my original OS X disc, and i download 4 different ones also to try and it always does the same.

I will have another play tonight if not then someone can release the theme ;)
