First of all, I'd like to thank the developers and anyone else who has contributed to the Chameleon Bootloader project---it's an amazing piece of work.

I'm new here, and have only used Chameleon in the past when following a hackintosh tutorial that uses software that has an option to "Install Chameleon"---so I know very little about configuration, installation, etc.

(And yes, I have used the "Search" function on for this forum to try to answer my question [below]; I don't even get any results for my terms.)

Does anybody know how to configure password protection for Chameleon on boot (if it's even possible)?  (E.g. when I boot my computer, the Chameleon Bootloader will run, and either (1) ask for a password before displaying operating system options, or (2) ask for a password after choosing an operating system.)

Thank you for your help.

For reference (and in response to this forums rules), My /Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist is as follows:

Code: [Select]

Hello,

There's no such option for Chameleon. All of its features are documented in Official Chameleon Docs.

Even as a "would be nice" request sounds like ultra low priority too, we're focussing on other aspects at the time.

If you really gotta have access restriction on your machine, you may have better luck by investigating its BIOS features, or even disable automatic logins ?

Cheers
Stop bitching, start coding or documenting or both..
