Thanks Blackosx and Zef.  I think I am going to run over to my cousins house where he has a newer Mac running Snow Leopard and create the usb stick there.  I will post the results.

I was able to successfully install Chameleon on my usb stick on my cousin's mac.  Now if I could just figure out how to finish this project.  Thanks for all the help.
