Boot Disk list
« on: June 18, 2010, 05:52:51 PM »
Hello I am sorry if this is covered elsewhere but I have read through the "Official Chameleon Docs" and searched, still could not find what I'm looking for.

I am building a dual boot SL+XP for my father in-law. I'm trying very hard to convert a stubborn old man to Mac.

I have SL installed with Chameleon -- Works great .

I am wondering if there is a way to cange the default behavior of Chameleon in which it displays only the default partition first.

I would like to display all bootable partitions first without having to press a key to get the entire disk list.

Maybe this can't be done -- I donno. But I wanted to ask.

Thanks!

Hi mbp

You can achieve that by adding to following to your Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist.

<key>Instant Menu</key>
<string>Yes</string>
10.10.5 / 10.11 GM1 | Asus Maximum IV Gene-Z | i7-2600 3.40GHz | 4GB | Radeon 5770 1GB
