com.apple.Boot.plist location
« on: July 16, 2010, 02:49:56 AM »
hello, successfully installed iAtkos v7 using Chameleon V2 R431

I am just wondering if it is normal for the com.apple.Boot.plist location to be in L/P/SC only.
I don't see it anywhere else, its not in the Extra folder or the root folder,
I have ".chameleon" hidden folder in root and I even checked there, no such file.

I don't think I have an EFI partition since I dont see one in Volumes. Also, when I checked diskutil, it clearly says my disk is MBR formated.
That leaves me thinking that Chameleon knows to look for the com.apple.Boot.plist file in the L/P/SC folder, am I right?

If I go ahead and edit com.apple.Boot.plist in the L/P/SC location will it affect my boot up? I am wanting to add a new theme, so do you think this will work?
