Moderator Edit: Theme selection is part of the boot options. Documented + Stiky'd in our Forum. Thanks to Blackosx amazing guides, you'll find anything you want about resizing themes in his thread: Resizing Themes

hi,

From the point of view seen where you did install chameleon:

put the theme with his folder <ThemeName> inside the /Extra/Themes/
Result should become: /Extra/Themes/<ThemeName>

Copy com.apple.Boot.plist to your desktop ( this is for your safety ).
Open it with a plist editor ( install apple developer tools ), some other plist editor or a text editor.
put at the end in your com.apple.Boot.plist , but before </dict></plist>

Code: [Select]
<key>Theme</key>
<string>ThemeName</string>

Check it.
Copy and replace the file back to the original place using sudo in the terminal.

It could be that the author of the theme is using a bigger size then your screen.
Contact him if he is willing to change things for you, if he wants of course.

Or change your screen size in the same com.apple.boot.plist

Another solution is to take a widescreen image, and resize it to 1024x768 in resolution.

Then select the image itself, and resize the layer to 1024x600.

Leave the bottom 1024x168 blank.

And it should show properly. =]
