VERY buggy installer
« on: April 14, 2009, 07:41:57 AM »
It took me 2 hours installing the driver but still not fully functional.
It is still a very good driver nevertheless. :)

First off, the installer got ALL the permissions wrong!
The kext is not root:wheel and 755 (i guess) and the configloader & friend do not have correct permissions.

Also, the config cannot be saved/loaded after each reboot
The config plist is not created automatically and doesn't write anything if I manually create one blank plist for it
And there is some bug in the config loader:

logout

[Process completed]

It cannot even "open config.plist" when running with sudo

I really hope a proper installer will be out soon especially because the driver doesn't load settings from the kext's own plist at reboot like it stated in the readme!!!

Thanks
