Chameleon 2 RC5 Revision 627 Question
« on: November 08, 2010, 11:08:25 AM »
I see in the source file, nvidia.c that it list the nVidia GeForce 200 as a supported card.  MIne is by EVGA with 512MB DDR3.

If I boot using GraphicsEnabler=yes I get a black screen.  If I boot with GraphicsEnabler=No I get a boot inot OSX Snow Leopard with a normal screen but no acceleration.

So it looks like the card is not supported even though its in the list?

I have read around that I could run nvflash.exe and get a Boot.rom then use Nvcap Maker and Osx86Tools to get an EFI string.  You would think though that Chameleon would already have this script in place?

Chameleon might know about the card but that doesn't mean that the OSX nvidia drivers do.

EFI strings, boot roms and injector kexts are worthless if the drivers themselves don't recognize the card.

Google 'guide for all nvidia boards'.
