Using Chameleon to boot 64-bit kernel on a 32-bit EFI MacBook2,1
« on: November 20, 2010, 07:43:14 PM »
Hi there!

I've read a few posts here and there about this, basically i wish to experiment with loading a 64-bit kernel on my MacBook.

I've looked but not found any guides or specifics on using Chameleon on official  hardware, i'm wondering if there are anyone here in the forum with insight or experience in these matters.

I'm aware of the caveats using a 64-bit kernel, also aware of the dubious returns in terms of performance, which is precisely why i need to explore this.

I'd like to use as stock a kernel as possible, only i'd like to run the 64-bit version of it.

Any and all help is highly appreciated!
