More bootscreen resolutions
« on: November 23, 2010, 11:23:40 AM »
Hello!

I have already asked a question here: http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php/topic,1701.0.html and it's clear for me that available BOOTSCREEN resolutions are depended on the available videocard VESA modes. So is it possible to make it independed, so we could use high (non VESA) resolutions? It's really confusing to see stretched to "1280x960" graphics on the "1600x1200" monitor.

Thank you, devs, for all the work you've done!

non-VESA resolution are not available during boot when there's no driver loaded.

What you want would require someone to write a video card driver just for Chameleon!

Check your other topic again, I've added some info.
