Hi shuvro

I've moved your post from the dev talk section to here where it belongs.
As for your problem.. I have to ask, have you added the stage 2 loader to disk0s2?

Hi shuvro,

Please don't forget to update boot1h on your HFS+ partition as well. By reading your boot1 log, I'm pretty sure that you have an old version which couldn't handle large boot files. Recent boot1h loaders can't even print "boot1: /" messages.

Hi Shuvro

You opened this topic by saying you installed Chameleon RC5, so how did you install that?

But to recap, (and to save typing) see installation instructions:

I install Chameleon-2.0-RC5-r656 (pkg)

so i didn't had to do anything.

        sudo fdisk -f boot0 -u -y /dev/rdisk0

        sudo dd if=boot1h of=/dev/rdisk0s2

        sudo cp boot /

I update like this but still the same. How can i remove the old boot1h ?

thanks

Hi shuvro

As you say you've done as Zef suggested and written a new version of boot1h to disk0s2, the reason you still see the verbose log is strange. All I can think of is the old boot1h must still be present.

Can you try manually installing the latest Chameleon files by issuing the commands in red as you've shown above to a spare USB memory stick but replacing disk0 and disk0s2 with the relevant numbers. You'll want the USB memory stick formatted as HFS with a GPT before doing so. Then add your /Extra folder to the USB and try booting from that. and see if you still see the boot1:done messages.
