VoodooHDA v2.7.2 Mic input has white noise !

Hi I downloaded & installed VoodooHDA v2.7.2 , http://code.google.com/p/voodoohda/downloads/list but my microphone only outputs white noise. Adjusting the mic volume in preference pane does nothing. Please help.

official VoodooHDA (on Voodoo Team) is v2.2 ..

VoodooHDA v2.5.2, 2.6.2 & 2.7.2 (from googlecode) - its modifed builds by "Slice" & "AutumnRain" ...

i think you need report youare qestion in this discussion "Slice"

...or this "AutumnRain" but that if you understand Russian...

I have this same problem as well, but under the VoodooHDA prefpane, I only have HDMI audio in the pull down menu. I'm using voodooHDA on my laptop.

Also, even if I move the mic slider all the way done (or even all the way up for that matter), the volume control is still the same. Basically, the slider is completely useless.

I'm trying to get this fixed as well. Were you successful?

P.S: I'm using v2.7.2 as well.
