Anyone failing using EFI partition to boot?
« on: April 16, 2009, 04:18:55 PM »
Hi,

It seems to be just me having this problem apparently.. however
I installed a Retail OSX from another partition (on the same hdd) that is iDeneb v1.3 with chameleon 1.0.11
onto the main partition, and have blown up the iDeneb to ONLY use newly installed OSX.
I also installed chameleon with the EFI option, and it won't boot now.

It's not chameleon itself because I physically saw it working when installed standardly,
but after installing using the option.....................................  :-[

Is there anything needed to be done additionally after installation?

I suspect that installing new OSX from another partition was the problem as I think as long as they are on the same HDD they share the EFI partition-the 200MB thing. But - would it matter? because I already formatted the previous osx partition before installing chameleon, and installing new osx might have replaced boot sector however.

Anyone solved the problem? If there is any manual way to fix it I'd like to have a go.
