installed 2.0 RC5 over RC3, now won't boot
« on: December 26, 2010, 12:16:31 AM »

I just bought a Asus 1201n with working 10.6.4.

It was running with Chameleon 2.0 RC3. Don't ask me why, but I downloaded and installed 2.0 RC5. The install seemed to work OK, but when I restart the laptop now, I only get as far as the apple logo (boot screen). I've tried booting in safe mode, using the -x and -f switch, but to no avail. When I boot in verbose mode, some text scrolls by quickly, then the screen goes black and nothing happens. I've been trying to read on these forums, but am totally lost. Any ideas on how I can jump-start this thing?

Any help is VERY appreciated!

You don''t say what type of video you have but this sounds like a video injection problem.  I would reinstall RC3 and wait for the next release.
