Help with windows backup when booting with chameleon?
« on: February 08, 2011, 08:00:02 PM »
I am new to hackintosh.  Here is my issue.  I have osx on one disk and windows 7 on another.  I can boot into either os via chameleon (installed on the osx disk).  Windows will even sleep (once I turned hibernate off. )

However, I can only run windows backup when I boot directly to the windows drive.  If I navigate to windows via chameleon, windows backup will not run. I can not find the reason for this or a fix.  Any advice would be appreciated.

I should have put this the first time.

The windows partition is active.  The error in windows is

The backup was not successful. The error is: The requested system device cannot be found. (0x80073BC3).

I can't find much about troubleshooting this on the windows side of things.
