Kernel Panic on Boot
« on: February 16, 2011, 06:24:23 PM »
Hey there, I've installed Snow Leopard on a Gateway 506GR - Intel Augsburg Motherboard, Pentium 4 Processor 540, Intel HDA, GeForce FX 5200, etc.  Installed 10.6 using nawcom's bootcd 0.3.1 (wouldn't work with iboot), and I've since updated to 10.6.6.  I'm using nawcom's legacy kernel.  I've installed the newest Chameleon bootloader as well.  I can only boot into safe mode (-x) or else I get a kernel panic related to voodooHDA.  Attached is the kernel panic message.  Any ideas on how to remedy this situation?  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thank you!
