Hide OSX boot partition in chameleon?
« on: February 11, 2011, 06:41:12 PM »
I successfully installed snow leopard onto a raid0 array and got everything to work perfectly.
However, trying to hide only one of the raid drives in chameleon (using Hide Partition = hd(x,y)) simply doesn't seem to work, probably because of some chameleon fail-safe so you don't hide your osx boot partition.
Can anybody walk me through how to hide the osx drive?
Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I've found something about editing a disk.c file, but I have no idea where it is or how to do this.

Anyone know how? I'm sure it wouldn't be too much work, just some simple editing,  if somebody can tell me where the disk.c file is.

Thanks for the reply. I've found this page before, I just don't know what I'm supposed to do with this.

You must have missed the big shiny link over there that says "How To Get The Code".

Open a Terminal prompt and type

cd ~/downloads

svn co http://forge.voodooprojects.org/svn/chameleon

to get the Chameleon source code.
