Hi,
Thanks to the devs for all the hard work. I really like Chameleon, and I'm determined to get it working so I can base my future efforts around it.
I have a boring noobish problem:
I have Windows 7 and iPC Leopard installed in a single laptop (HP G61 110SA) HDD with a hybrid GPT/MBR partition table (via gptsync).
I have Chameleon 2 RC4 (also tried RC5 beta) installed in the Leopard partition. I have done all that active flag juggling and windows repair stuff mentioned here:
http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php/topic,311.0.html among numerous other places.
The situation now is that if I flag the W7 partition active, it boots fine. If I flag the Leopard partition active, Chameleon loads and shows the Leopard installation, which also boots fine, but it does not detect the Windows 7 partition. Chameleon detects Windows installations on external USB disks fine.
Currently I get by with having Windows as active and using the iPC installer to boot OS X.
I can't work out why Chameleon doesn't see the W7 partition. My understanding is that Chameleon now supports booting from non active partitions. Should I install it to the windows partition? Any pointers?
Thanks!
