Boot Problem
« on: March 12, 2011, 03:44:22 PM »
Hello there,
I am a chameleon/osx noob. I just installed snow leopard on my asus eeepc 1101HA booting chameleon. The thing is after I copied the boot files to my hard drive, so I do not need a flash drive to boot I've accidentally deleted a kext from my /Extra/Extensions folder. Now I cannot boot and I'm getting the 'nanoseconds thing crash msg'. I'd like to ask is there a way to boot bypassing the /Extra/Extensions folder located on my hard drive?
I've read something about a -f flag option but I have no idea how to use it and where...
Thanks for your help guys

I don't remember reading about ever bypassing it but I'm lazy anyway. I usually just boot into windows and access the mac partition from there and fix it. The flags are used by typing them into chameleon before you select your os to boot. Select your os x partition and then type -f and enter.
