Same here on Dp4 with 1.3.3 I'm going to try some DSDT hacks see what I can come up with

It's something about AppleACPIPlatform, if you use SL version (tested with 10.6.7 and 10.6.8) VoodooBattery works in Lion.

Maybe it's checking something else, like the new IO80211Family which doesn't work if board-id is not set.
