ThumbDrive messing up boot
« on: May 01, 2011, 01:45:15 AM »
Chameleon ROCKS!, but if I leave my thumbdrive in my hub, my beautiful two-icon dual boot screen becomes a four icon mess, in which Windows7 doesn't work. For the time being, I am removing the thumbdrive and restarting, but is there a way to avoid this occurring?

Many thanks for a wonderful tool.

It appears that Chimera fixes the Mac OS X part of the boot, although Windows boot is still screwed up with USB drives attached at startup.

I not sure I understand what you mean themacmeister.
What is on your USB thumbdrive"?

Can you boot in to OS X, then with the thumbdrive plugged in, type diskutil list in to the terminal and post the result?

Maybe also post a photo of your Chameleon GUI with and without the thumbdrive connected?
