org.chameleon.Boot.plist ignores:

Hide/Rename Partition (all my partitions are now visible and have their original names)
Default Partition (Chameleon goes straight to the GUI instead of booting my default partition)
ShowInfo=No (removing this flag altogether does not change anything)
Timeout

GraphicsEnabler and other flags are working. org.chameleon.Boot.plist attached below.

Starting Darwin x86_64
I don't think it's something I did, it was working fine before installing r1111 and renaming the Boot.plist.
Naming it 'com.apple.Boot.plist' shows the warning message as expected but the flags I mentioned are still ignored.

Create a bug report at http://forge.voodooprojects.org/p/chameleon/issues/

Defaults not loading properly would (most likely) have to do with the r1103 changes.

org.chameleon.Boot.plist
?

Thanks for the reminder to keep my eye on the changes at the forge.
I see it now in commit 1105

Well done Meklort - keep up the good work.  ;D

Note to self: Try to keep pace with Meklort's dev work..

Bleeding edge!

look out for boolean and integer values in future versions:

Yes. I saw Mek's reply to your question at the forge and his post #520 in the Chameleon v2.0 RC5 (Main Trunk) topic at IM.

The continuous development of Chameleon is good to witness, though I have thought to myself recently the who, what, why, how, when questions?  I mean, is Meklort single handedly redesigning Chameleon? Are Kabyl/Zef other devs involved or plan to be involved? Is there an overall vision for what Chameleon is to become? or shall we just respect that each developer devotes their free time to the project as and when they can with the aim of modifying/tweaking/re-writing the codebase to react to future OS X releases and newer techniques necessary for the newer hardware?

Either way, I'm positive for the changes and I guess I just want to be in the position to share correct info and answer questions from others here as and when they arise, as at the moment, I feel a little in the dark  :)

The developers that are currently (actively / semi-activly) working on chameleon are myself, cosmo1t, and Azimuth. Azimuth generally works in his own branch and does tweaks for his own knowledge / to learn about things. cosmolt usually does small changes. I usually do the large changes that break things.

As far as a direction / design, I do have one, and I believe people in irc know what my philosophy is as far as why I change what I change. What I've been doing the past week is to clean up chameleon so that 1) the code is easier to read / work with, 2) the code doesn't do things that it shouldn't, and 3) the code follows more sane paths. If that means I have to break things for current users, I really don't mind.

As far as the rewrite branch goes, that's a side project (that I hope to get back to once I'm done with some lion fixes and what not). It should eventually lead to a much nicer codebase as well as a having better support for hardware.

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my rambling thoughts meklort and I hope you don't feel I put you on the spot or anything. But what you've said make perfect sense and I guess I kinda knew that anyhow.

I'm online pretty much everyday so I do try to keep abreast of what's going on, but I guess 3/4 of that time gets spent reading the normal everyday posts on the likes of Insanely.. I shall have to dedicate more time to irc.

In the mean time I'll keep running my local tests of the Chameleon trunk to try to stay up to date with the changes. Keep up the good work.

Regards
