When voodoohdahelper put in login items to save settings it prevents wake from sleep, also on reboot it stops the timeout set in com.apple.boot.plist on EFI partition  (rc2) meaning having to press enter to boot. Seems to prevent the wake option set in chameleon boot.

Hello !

Idem, my advent doesn't want to wake up after the install of the last kext (with prefpane).
And this event without the use of voodoohdahelper...

EDIT: I made a test with the previous version (0.2.2 without prefpane) => no problem at the wake up...

Thanks fassl that fixed it, great work. Any way to stop terminal opening while it reloads the settings?

Yes, in login items tab there is a checkbox for the items. It is for hiding/unhiding the items at startup. Just check it for voodoohdahelper.

To drag voodoohdahelper in the startup items... that works even if it is not really the right solution but for the moment it will be ok.

And at the wake up ? how can I start it automatically ? Any idea ?
Thanks,

Still have terminal opening at startup I have in checked not to show in Accounts/Login Items. The Helper file is located in Machintosh HD/Library/Startupitems. It  saves the settings fine just have the stop the terminal.

Ditto joelw135's findings terminal still opens at startup despite tick not to show in login items. It's a minor annoyance having to close terminal after boot but to have settings retained and sleep wake not affected until further development is ok.

Maybe I have a solution for this. Copy the plist I attached in ~/Library/LaunchAgents/ and modify the ProgramArguments entry to match the path to wherever is your voodoohdahelper.

If you have multiple acounts and want it to load for all of them copy it to /Library/LaunchAgents/

Launch Agents can be very useful
