Really low sound when 5.1 connected

Hi,

I'm currently running OSx86 10.6.8 with the latest version of VoodooHDA and having a small issue. If I connect my speakers with 5.1 (meaning the green, black and orange connectors) the sound is super low and unless I turn my speakers almost at max, I cannot hear anything. But if I set it up as 2.1 (connecting only the green connector) the sounds plays well. Any ideas of why this could be happening? I'm running on a P5Q-E motherboard which has the ADI® AD2000B 8-channel High Definition Audio CODEC.
