Volume control on VoodooHDA 2.7.2
« on: September 09, 2011, 02:44:52 AM »
I'm running Snow Leopard (10.6.7) on an HP Mini 1000.  Voodoo HDA works great, minus one little thing.  The volume control doesn't do anything.  The only way to change volume is to move the PCM slider in the Voodoo HDA pref pane.

Is there a way to make OS X's built-in volume control change the PCM volume, so I can use my keyboard's volume keys?

I've the same problem on an Asrock P5B-DE with VIA VT1708S in Snow Leopard 10.6.8 x86

Audio works perfect but don't have volume control.

In another forum told me i've to add this files in the kext:

<key>VoodooHDAEnableVolumeChangeFix</key>
<string>Yes</string>

or

<key>VoodooHDAEnableVolumeChangeFix</key>
<true>

but no works :(

Any solution ?? Thanks.
