[Theme] Blackosx_3D (Now with added un-squashed files)
« on: April 21, 2009, 08:18:18 PM »
Here's my latest theme, an attempt at a 3D look. Enjoy :)

EDIT
I use 1680x1050 but when I designed this my setup only allowed Chameleon to see 1280x1024, so my files are squashed to 1280x1024 and the booter stretches them to fit, so I am not sure how it will look at other resolutions.

EDIT 2
I have now attached the original sized background and device icons for 1680x1050 as this theme was originally designed for, without them squashed.

Thanks for the feedback.

It's hard to know what users want, whether a clean authentic look such as the excellent boot camp theme on here, or just something completely different like this.  :)

WOW that's really a very nice theme :D. I tried it, but because my screen resolution is 1280x1024, the background picture is cut in half... Could you make a 1280x1024 theme please? Thanks ;)

Wow, This is a good response! It's good to hear my work is being appreciated. :)

Resize requests: Yes this can be done - Have a look at my 'Resizing Themes' post.

I have a modified theme for you in the 'Resizing Themes' topic if you would like to try it.

Windows04, Can you try changing the screen_width and screen_height keys in the theme.plist to read 1280 and 1024 respectively? See if that works for you. If not, is there any chance of you showing me a picture of it displaying incorrectly?

Ha funny, i just done that before i saw this ;). Jeah it works now :D. The screen_width was set on 1024 and the screen_height on 768 so that only half of the image background was being shown at boot up ;). But anyway thanks, I use the theme now and it's really nice to have some 3D effect :D
