Will Chamelon be generic enough to use on non OSx86 systems?

(1/1)

Geniusboywonder:
Hey Guys,

I've been playing with OSx86 and stumbled on Chamelon.

It is be far the best bootloader I have seen and knocks socks off GRUB and the text based boot-loaders.
Well done to Zef!!

Do you think Chamelon could be used as a generic bootloader for all types of systems without needing to have OSx86 installed?

I would like to use it to boot a laptop with Win7 and Ubuntu installed. What would I need to do to enable this if it is at all possible?

Thanks

GBW :D

I'm not a chameleon developer... But I think it's possible now ;). If you get a live OSx86 DVD (like iPC live), boot from it, create an hfs+ partition (max 100 mb), download the installer and install chameleon to that partition ;).
