Can we add more options to aid navigation if a vertical device layout is used?

Currently, if the devices are displayed vertically, the menu can be selected with a left key press. The problem is though, the keyboard input is then no longer accepted and you can't select the menu options.

And an option maybe to put the menu layout horizontal and without text
