UUID for "Default Partition" key in boot.plist
« on: April 07, 2009, 10:16:24 PM »
The title says it all: It would be great if we could enter a UUID in the "Default Partition" key of the Boot.plist file'

Thanks,

For clarification, are you wanting UUID (the entire drive) or a specific partition on the drive?

I'm sorry, same mistake again. I was assuming GPT or GPT+MBR partition table.

I mean UUID for a partition. Same technique as explained here: http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php/topic,13.msg136.html#msg136

Thanks,
