Chameleon on a virtual machine?
« on: May 21, 2009, 11:21:06 AM »
Has anyone experience with running Mac OS X or Mac OS X server in a VM booted with Chameleon?

In particular it would be nice to be able to run Mac OS X on some of the many cheap virtual hosts that many companies offer for next to nothing, but right now all these are limited to Windoze or Linux/FreeBSD. It would be nice if one could upload a pre-configured VMWare appliance or something like that...

last time i tried, the fsb detection code broke and it didnt work.
however, vmware fusion contains a darwin.iso
use that one to boot your vm. it will work fine with os x server
