Chameleon without OSX
« on: June 03, 2009, 08:54:02 PM »
Hi all,

I love chameleon so much that I would like to use it at work to manage my multiple OS(various Linux Distributions and WinXP x64) but I don't know how to install chameleon without having OSX installer on the system !

can it be done ?   For sure I cannot install OSX86 at work :(

Regards!

sure, just use the same instructions as the terminal install uses, but do it from linux, substituting diskXsX with sdX#

This means you will need to add a HFS+ partition to your work computer.
Alternative: Install Chameleon to a USB stick. This has the advantage that you may probably use the GUI installer if you prefer this to the Terminal.

Enjoy!

Ah, you're right, you'll need an hfs+ partition.
