sound in and out are working great, thanks to the developers!

I do have a few issues that hopefully someone can help me with.

1. occasional glitches/skipping

2. audio out shows Unknown and in is two mic/mic - anyway to change the names?

3. the below keeps repeating every couple minutes in my system log.

Jun  6 12:15:53 Core2 kernel[0]: VoodooHDAEngine[0x62a7d00]::performAudioEngineStart

i have a badaxe2 with STAC9274D with a new install of retail vanilla 10.5.7.
I installed the VoodooHDA.kext into /EFI/Extra/Extentions with the two dependent files IOAudioFamily.kext and OSvKernDSPLib.kext.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

also attached my getdump.

The only decent working solution seems to be available on the PrePost BadAxe CD that myself and another person worked out the kinks of this motherboard which ends up with a custom BIOS, no need for a swap CD (you can boot directly form the DVD once the machine has been preped) and until VoodooHDA matures, it's functionality will be somewhat limited but I'm hoping to take a stab at it since it does have great potential and fassl has already laid down the foundation.

Can I ask how you resolved the blank screen under Hardware in About this Mac - More Info?
