So how many OSes can one fit on a hard drive?
« on: June 11, 2009, 01:46:58 AM »
I'm upgrading/reinstalling my machine (which right now has 3 Leopard installs on one HD, and an XP on another HD)...

I'm getting a fast Velociraptor 300 GB drive, and I'd like to fit as many OSes on as possible...

Ideally I'd like

3 Leopard installs
Win XP
Windows 7

With Chameleon could it boot all of those off of one drive?  Or maybe 3 Leopards and one of the windows?

The Windows 7 will just have a few games, the WinXP will have a few utilities like dbpoweramp... all the partitions will be small so space isn't really an issue...

Partition as GPT
Partition 1: EFI (don't touch)
Partition 2: Win 1
Partition 3: Win 2
Partition 4: Mac OS X 1 incl. Chameleon 2
Partitions 5-128: Mac OX 2-129.

Enjoy!

Thanks!

Which order should I install the OSes in to get them all to work?
