FSB speed incorectly detected using RC1
« on: June 15, 2009, 02:56:48 PM »
Hi there,

Using the RC1, at boottime I see FSB detected as:

[TSC] CPU freq =   2500.0000MHz, FSB freq =    100.0000MHz, tscGran = 25.0

but CPU-Z shows the following:

Number of processors   1
Number of cores   1 per processor
Number of threads   1 per processor
Name   Intel Pentium 4
Code Name   Northwood
Specification   Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.53GHz
Package   Socket 478 mPGA
Family/Model/Stepping   F.2.4
Extended Family/Model   F.2
Brand ID   9
Core Stepping   B0
Technology   0.13 um
Core Speed   2519.2 MHz
Multiplier x Bus speed   19.0 x 132.6 MHz
Rated Bus speed   530.4 MHz
Stock frequency   2533 MHz
Instruction sets   MMX, SSE, SSE2
L1 Data cache (per processor)   8 KBytes, 4-way set associative, 64-byte line size
Trace cache (per processor)   12 Kuops, 8-way set associative
L2 cache (per processor)   512 KBytes, 8-way set associative, 64-byte line size

Could it be that the RC1 is incorectly detecting the FSB speed?

Cheers!

N.M.

Yes. same here. Put the right values into smbios.plist
