post grey screen then restart?
« on: June 29, 2009, 12:53:30 PM »
when i select osx, i get the grey "apple" screen for a fraction of a second then it restarts.

searched for answer, there's a problem with search for me (see other post by myself).

i'm using a GUID partition, only 1 hard drive attached:

disk0:  guid partition scheme
disk0s1: EFI
disk0s2: Fat32 format (no OS installed currently)
disk0s3: Apple HFS OSX

installed the rc2 to disk0s3.

using vanilla osx 10.5.0

asus p6t
intel i7 920

I needed a kernel param:

busratio=20

to make that stop with my Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5, might be the same with your mobo. Just enter that before you boot or put it in your .plist.
