External USB Sources
« on: June 30, 2009, 05:53:46 PM »
Hi!

I'm happily using VoodooHDA with Chameleon 2.0RC1 on a Medion Laptop.

However, I have an issue with an external Logitech USB webcam with built-in microphone.

It simply doensn't appear in the "sound" list.

When I disable VoodooHDA, the device does appear though.

Is there any particular thing that needs to be configured in order to get an external usb source to work?

Thanks

-- BTW, I also tried this with an USB headphone amp. Same problem.

Are you using the the Logitech driver for the web cam, or a 3rd party driver (like Macam)? Also, do you have the latest version of the driver for your webcam installed?
