Timeout option not automatically added for EFI partition option

If the installer installs to OS-x partition on the harddrive, then it will automatically add the Timeout option to com.apple.Boot.plist. BUT if you select to install to the EFI parition it does NOT add the Timeout to com.apple.Boot.plist.
