[Solved] DVD-ROM Drive Chameleon
« on: July 07, 2009, 04:25:40 AM »
How can I make Chameleon recognize my CD-ROM Drive?  I want to be able to put a bootable CD in my drive and have it appear the the Chameleon menu, how do I do that?
I have a Shuttle SP35P2.  Intel P35 mobo, ICH9R.

Thanks.

Chameleon cannot detect optical disks right now unless it is booted from an optical disk.

Perhaps someone could post the instructions for doing the rescan once booted from a cd or dvd, but I think maybe this is all you needed to hear

Thanks, that was all I needed to hear.  I've just seen so many screenshots showing the CDROM drive as an option.  I didn't know that only happened when Chameleon was on a CD itself.
