Here's a recompiled version for x86_64 :)

Hello,

Someone modified the Trackpad.prefPane to work with this modified Alps kext. Is it possible to get one that works with 10.6x? Using the 10.5 one screws up System Preferences all together :/

Thank You!

don't use the prefpane from 10.5, just backup the one from 10.6
reinstall it
and then it should work

I'm wondering if anyone might be able to help. I've got an HP mini 311 it's got an ALPS glide point.
I've installed the voodooPS2controll 0.9.8 pkg and dropped in the ALPS modified voodooPS2Trackpad.kext.

But this isn't working. It's showing me in my console that it's loaded.

ApplePS2ALPSGlidePoint: ABmod, Loading Clicking Settings at Boot 1,1,1

thoughts?

Thanks, it works for my sony vaio, but it's possible fix the bug for voodoo prepane with the error:  "ApplePS2SypnaticsTouchPad Not Found" ?

And another problem, the mouse jumps suddenly sometimes, is there a fix for this, it's important?

;)

I have try also the original version and the mouse jumps more frequently.  My ALPS is "bad",  with this modded version the mouse works better, but can you fix completely the problem of "jumping mouse"?

especially also if the speed of the scroll is set to a minimum it is still too fast, the number of rows to scroll is still too for me ;)

EDIT:
I have resolve in other way ;)

Feedback:

It somewhat works on my Sony VAIO VGN-NR102E. Tapping and dragging work just fine but scrolling is the same as before. To be able to scroll at all i have to turn my finger sideways and move up and down the trackpad, that would fine if it wasn't for the fact that it just randomly scrolls up and down. Thanks for trying but it's no different than the regular Voodoo trackpad driver.
