graphic card Radeon Hd 7950 not recognized - AMD Radeon HD 7xxx 3072 MB

Hello,
Thanks in advance for reading my post and to this great forum!
I have a Mac Pro 1,1, now 3,1 with Chameleon and Mavericks, and everything is working fine.
Recently I've upgraded the graphic card to AMD Radeon Hd 7950.
At the beginning my Mac refused to start, and froze at the grey screen.
Only after changing the parameter from:

--- Code: ---<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>

--- End code ---
to No GraphicsEnabler I could start Chameleon again.
The "problem" now is that in the About This Mac window/More Info I see:
Graphics  AMD Radeon HD 7xxx 3072 MB
My new GPU is not recognized...  :'(
Yes... I know that it's not a serious problem... it's only affecting the appearance, but I ❤ my Mac Pro.
Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks a lot for your attention!

Long Live the Mac Pro 1,1!

Gringo Vermelho:
I suppose that's perfectly normal when using a 7xxx series on a real Mac.

This is not a Chameleon issue - Chameleon no longer does anything in regards to your graphics card since you have disabled GraphicsEnabler.

Maybe there is a way to replace "7xxx" with 7950 somewhere in the ATI driver files, but you'll have to look for this information elsewhere.

If I start my Mac without Chameleon, in Lion 32 bit, the card is recognized.
I suppose that Chameleon, at least for me, will remain surrounded by that alone of mystery...  :)

Gringo Vermelho:
I still don't believe it has anything to do with Chameleon. Chameleon cannot fill in the model name for you without GraphicsEnabler=y. You'll have to find another way to modify the model string, I'm sure it can be done, just not with Chameleon.

Also, Mavericks + new ATI drivers <> Lion in 32-bit mode.

ErmaC:
Hi can you provide your IDs for your new card vendor deviceId sub-vendor and sub-deviceId

I can't promise a solution since I'm newer was owner of any Ati/AMD gfx card!

And the Ati code is "outdated"... We need a coder with this card...
