Hello!!!

I have an ASUS Laptop k55vd

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 - 3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz
8GB RAM
Graphics:
      Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
      NVIDIA GForce 610M

I already installed X Lion but when I start this system appears the follow error:
nvidia ROM patching failed
Error: dcbtable version is 0x4

I don't know what to do... I tried with GraphicsEnabler=Yes, GraphicsEnabler=No, -x , -v ....

Someone can help me???

Gringo Vermelho:
Are you using the latest version of Chameleon?

Nvidia Optimus is not supported on OS X. There are ways to disable the nvidia card and use the HD4000.

Please go here for further assistance:

Yep I'm with the last chameleon version.
I never know how to use this 'kext' ...
For example, on this post: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/271292-dev-disabling-the-nvidia-card-for-battery-life-optimus/

Where I must extract the NoNvidia.kext.zip  that they share?

Gringo Vermelho:
Not related to Chameleon, and so I can't help you with that here.

That's what I meant when I said "Please go here for further assistance".

Presumably nonvidia.kext goes in /System/Library/Extensions, because that's where kernel extensions go. You should probably look at your DSDT and compare it to the code example listed as well.

The smart thing to do is to post in the related topic on InsanelyMac, where there are other people who are facing the same issue as you. I couldn't help you even if it wasn't against the rules here, I have no experience with Optimus.
