ADI 1988a in an Asus P5B-V motherboard
« on: August 10, 2009, 08:44:06 PM »
Hi! Amazing work fellas! :) I only have one issue left with my soundcard, it's really weird, the fix should be easy.
When i connect my headphones+mic to the line-in (red mic plug) both in the front plug or in the plug in the back, i can hear my voice through the speakers, but Mac OS X doesn't detect any sound, in the System Preferences, the sound bar doesn't move and in GarageBand i can't tune my guitar because it's like there is no sound at all, even though my speakers are giving out the sound that comes through the microphone. Here is the dump from sudo ./getdump binary:

Cheers!

Ok, i got the microphone working finally with VoodooHDA-By-Thireus.zip from http://thireus.dareyourmind.net/ !
Still GarageBand is working a bit weird, with no microphone plugged in, it complains about feedback, and always asks to turn off monitors (speakers?) or keep them turned on with feedback detection. Also the tuner doesn't seem to be able to detect the sound of my classical guitar well...But other than that, it's perfect, i can record audio fine in AudioHijackPro :)

Cheers
