how to configure which boot devices to list?
« on: September 15, 2009, 03:08:16 AM »
Hi all.

First of all.  Kudos to all Chameleon dev team and supporting members, and because of you folks, I was able to install Snow Leopard so easily and make duel boot Windows 7 on a single HDD. THANK YOU!

Now on to my question, I noticed that when I come to Chameleon boot GUI, I see 5 different devices and some of them are not even bootable devices.  Out of those 5, I only need 2.  So, how can I tell Chameleon to list only the boot devices that I want to boot from?

Thank you.

I would first install the latest copy of Chameleon2-rc3.  That should correct the problem.  It did for me.

Chameleon will show all partitions that are bootable. There is no way around this yet. Data-only partitions should not show (they don't on my system).

If you think Chameleon is showing partitions that aren't bootable, file a bug report.
