Removing Boot Options
« on: October 10, 2009, 05:42:04 AM »
When I boot I would like to change a few thing:

I want it boot straight to the OS option (no timeout)

I have "3" drives. 2x Raptors in RAID0 (W7), 1x 250GB (OSX), 1x 750GB (Storage). For some reason I have 4 boot options. OSX, The 100mb partition made by the W7 install,  Then I think 2 other NTFS boot options that dont do anything.  How can I get rid of the ones that dont boot to anything, and also how do I rename the Icons.

Your questions are answered in the FAQ and the documentation.

You cannot rename the icons, you have to rename the drives/partitions themselves.

If the drives/partitions are bootable, Chameleon will list them. The only thing you can do is make sure that they are not bootable.

To get rid of the timeout, remove the timeout key from Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist (doh).
