I have two sata drives in my system. SATA 1 is the drive with my Vista install on. SATA 2 is the drive with my OS X Leopard install on.
However, as the bios is set to boot from the Leopard drive, the ID of the Vista drive is disk1s1 and the ID of the OS X drive is disk0s2
I added the entry into com.apple.Boot.plist file (<key>Default Partition</key>,,,,<string>hd(1,1)</string>) but no matter what, Chameleon simply refuses to boot Vista as the default OS.
I can hit any key and get into the selection screen and Vista will boot from there, but I want it to auto boot.
I have set the timeout to 5secs and it is reading that, but completely ignoring the default partition entry.
I have booted with the leopard dvd in, pressed -s and used fdisk to make the os x partition active, and then I also did it to make the vista partition active.
It makes no difference.
What's going on? Can anyone help?
Cheers
