I've gone through this about 20 times now, so I'm getting frustrated. I hope someone can help me.
I am using the latest Chameleon build 658.
I've got a system with SL and Windows 7 installed. SL was installed first, then Windows 7. SL created the partition table, as follows:
fdisk: 1> p
Disk: /dev/rdisk0 geometry: 38913/255/63 [625142448 sectors]
Offset: 0 Signature: 0xAA55
Starting Ending
#: id cyl hd sec – cyl hd sec [ start - size]
————————————————————————
1: EE 0 0 2 – 25 127 14 [ 1 - 409639] GPT
*2: AF 1023 254 63 – 1023 254 63 [ 409640 - 312558600] HFS+
3: 07 1023 254 63 – 1023 254 63 [ 312969216 - 312170496] NTFS
4: 00 0 0 0 – 0 0 0 [ 0 - 0] unused
Chameleon will boot up, and I can select SL, and it will boot up. However, if I select the Windows partition (weird note, it is NTFS, but the icon says Windows FAT32), I get "Non-system disk, Press any key to reboot". I reboot, and it comes back to Chameleon.
Okay, I know, repair Windows 7. Not really needed. I set partition 3 to active from SL fdisk, and reboot, and Windows comes right up. If I use diskpart in Windows to set partition 2 active, SL comes up.
I just can't get into Windows from Chameleon. Any ideas? I know I can used easyBCD, but I don't like that method. I don't like using the Windows bootloader, and then having to select OSX, and then use Chameleon to select OSX again. It works, but it's stupid and redundant.
