Hi guys, just a quick questions, with Chameleon 2.0 RC3, whats the correct way to make a Leopard/Snow Leopard /Extra folder, cause I can't seem to get it working.
I've tried the following:
/Extra/
/Extra/10.5/
/Extra/10.5/Extensions
/Extra/10.5/Extensions.mkext
/Extra/10.6/
/Extra/10.6/Extensions
/Extra/10.6/Extensions.mkext
/Extra/DSDT.aml
/Extra/smbios.plist
/Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist

But my Snow leopard install will KP straight away with the above, I could only get snow to boot with a Snow Leopard mkext @ /Extra/Extensions.mkext

I also noticed that the Chameleon 2.0 RC3 Optional Installs folder has /Extra/10.5, /Extra/10.6 & /Extra/Common. Is there anything specific that the Common folder is for?

I would guess that the "common" folder is for kexts and other files (DSDT.aml, smbios.plist) that work on both 10.5 and 10.6. But that's just a guess.

Yeah, they're for both 10.5 & 10.6.

Ok, so do I make an extensions.mkext in the 10.5, 10.6 & Common folders each, or would I make an mkext in 10.5 from 10.5/Extensions & Common/Extensions, and one in 10.6 from 10.6/Extensions & Common/Extensions?

You have the layout correct. The Common folder is completely unnecessary. Remember that you need to boot into Leopard to make the 10.5/Extensions.mkext, and boot into Snow Leopard to make the 10.6/Extensions.mkext.

(I guess) a visual reference might be helpful:
